Cambridge Networks Interviewed On Cambridge City Radio

An essential element of Creating Cambridge it the desire to publicise and bring together the many organised networks that operate in the hi-tech, bio-tech and creative sectors in Cambridge.

Mauro Ciaccio, one of the Creating Cambridge founders, recently had the opportunity to meet with three group organisers, and share thoughts about what they do and, more importantly, what Cambridge needs more of. The interview can be found in the Pitch & Mix podcast series, recorded with the technical support of Cambridge City Radio.

  1. Joann Leeding – Cambridge AWiSE Co-Ordinator , a voluntary regional network for women in SET (Science, Engineering and Technology) and women wishing to return to SET after a career break.
  2. Mainda Kiwelu – CaMedia Organiser, bringing together artists & designers who want to licence their work, with businesses that want to enhance their brands or want new commercial products.
  3. Mark Goodson – CamJelly Founder and Organiser , a co-working group which meets weekly at ideaSpace, where freelancers, home workers and people running small businesses meet up in order to get out of their normal space, meet some new people and work together in a social environment.
