Pitch and mix is an opportunity to connect with the startup / entrepreneurial community in Cambridge.It’s regular – every Thursday morning. It’s central – at Clowns Cafe, 54 King Street, home (we think) to the best coffee in Cambridge. It’s accessible – 5 minutes walk from Park Street car and cycle park. It’s informal – you’re welcome whether you want to build a go-to-market team for your new venture, or to shoot the breeze with other interesting people.Pay for nothing but coffee. Pitch if you like. Mix all you want.
CamCreative embraces a diverse group of interests which includes graphic and web design, media of all kinds, literature and publishing, visual arts, multimedia, performing arts and general culture bringing together a mix of large and small firms.Please come and join us on the last Thursday of each month. We have on average around 30 + people turn up to meet and chat about all things creative with a wide and diverse group of friendly people.We start at 7.00pm and around 8.00pm have a 20 minute slot for a speaker or a longer discussion followed by open networking. Around 3 – 5 new members turn up every month so no need to worry about being the only one who doesn’t know anybody!

CaMedia is a society for professionals working in the media and other creative and cultural industries in Cambridgeshire. It’s main focus is supporting creative entrepreneurship through networking, talks and other personal and business development initiatives.
Springboard is a mentorship-led accelerator program for startups. We provide seed capital, office space and – most importantly – that magical ingredient of “smart-community” with mentors and other entrepreneurs. Springboard comes in the shape of an intensive 13 week programme based at the inspirational ideaSpace, part of Cambridge University’s state-of-the-art Hauser Forum.

The Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL), part of Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge, aims to spread the spirit of enterprise through the creation and delivery of educational activities that inspire and build skills in the practice of entrepreneurship. One of CfEL’s key teaching values is that the best people to teach entrepreneurs are entrepreneurs. The Centre collaborates with a network of over 300 experienced entrepreneurs, innovators and other practitioners to provide relevant, credible and practical training. The ideaSpace Enterprise Accelerator (iEA), fosters an inspiring culture and enabling environment to accelerate new innovations with global impact. Based at the University of Cambridge’s Hauser Forum, iEA is developing and supporting a range of activities designed to enhance the growth of early stage ventures and influence innovation policy in the UK.
Connected Cambridge is for enterprising people of all ages and from all walks of life who want to improve their chances of finding / realising their next ‘big thing’ .. job, technology concept, business plan, company, investment or whatever… in Cambridge (UK). You will find us friendly and welcoming – there is no charge for joining or receiving our e-letters, but we do charge for attending events, advertising jobs etc and for sponsorship. With sister clusters around the world we plan global links.
Software East Software East is a networking group for software practitioners in the East of England. Our online Software East community boasts over 200 members and our regular evening events cover topics such as agile software development, software project management and software business topics such as software pricing, software product management and how to build a software business. Software East is also involved in the Agile Cambridge and Code Generation conferences.
CamJelly is a casual coworking event, where freelancers, home workers, contractors and small business owners meet in order to get out of their normal space, meet some new people and work together in a social environment. Jelly is a mixture of work, chat, comparing of ideas, passing on tips and help and maybe sometimes collaborating on the birth of a new project.
Makespace will provide a physical location to serve as a focal point for the creative energy and engineering ability within Cambridge – a place for people with ideas to meet, experiment, argue, drink coffee, and spur each other on to create new and extraordinary things. It will contain a fully equipped FabLab, with prototyping equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters that allow members to quickly experiment with ideas that lie at the fascinating junction between hardware and software.

We’re a group of technology professionals in the Cambridge, UK area. We may not have the job title of “Product Manager”, but we have a responsibility for Product Management within our businesses. Our objective is to share knowledge and best practice of our trade.

The Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club`s mission is to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit amongst academics and students. We facilitate interaction between industry experts and students, thereby providing students with exposure to the wider business and fundraising communities. Investors and the industries that support them in turn gain access to the vibrant research and entrepreneurial communities at the University of Cambridge.
